This agreement was led by Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence, which was selected for the ‘Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence Support Program’ sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), with participation from the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film and the RISE Planning Team (Fostering Talent for the Creative Industries). Through this agreement, Chung-Ang University’s Graduate School of Metaverse Convergence and The Rookies plan to collaborate on: △the joint development and operation of digital content education programs; △global showcasing of student works and feedback support; △expansion of industry-academia collaboration and internship/employment opportunities both domestically and internationally; and △strengthening educational and research capabilities through exchanges between experts and faculty.
Director Sabrina Scalfari expressed her expectations, saying, “Collaboration with Chung-Ang University will be a meaningful opportunity for Korean students to showcase themselves and grow on the global stage." Alwyn Hunt added, “We hope that Chung-Ang University students will gain valuable feedback and international exposure through The Rookies platform.”
