Seoul Institute of the Arts.

[한국대학신문 이정환 기자] Seoul Institute of the Arts will begin accepting applications for the 2026 Early Admission for International Students from August 18 to September 16, 2025. This admission aims to provide broader opportunities for talented individuals in the arts from around the world and reflects the institution’s commitment to global creative arts education.

To be eligible, applicants must be foreign nationals, and both of their parents must also be non-Korean citizens. They must have graduated (or be expected to graduate) from high school. Applicants are also required to demonstrate a certain level of Korean language proficiency—such as a TOPIK Level 2 certificate or completion of a King Sejong Institute program. However, those who have graduated from a Korean high school are exempt from submitting Korean language certificates.

The application process includes qualification screening, online application, practical tests, and a final announcement of successful candidates. Qualification screening documents must be submitted via the Study in Korea website (www.studyinkorea.go.kr) between August 18 and September 16, 2025. The results of the screening will be announced on September 22. Online applications will be accepted from September 23 to September 30, followed by practical tests held from October 18 to November 2, according to each major. Final admission decisions will be announced on November 7.

The format for Acting and Applied Music majors will differ based on the applicant's country of residence. Notably, the second-round tests for Electronic Music, Sound Design, and DJing tracks within Applied Music major must be conducted offline.

Seoul Institute of the Arts offers various scholarships and housing support programs for international students. Scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition are awarded to students with outstanding academic performance, and dormitory spaces are given priority to international students.

A representative from Seoul Institute of the Arts stated, “For international students with passion and potential in the arts, SeoulArts offers an inspiring learning environment and the essential support for becoming a global artist.”
